The welcome week for UEB’s fresh students took place since 14th October 2021 with participation of over 1,300 students. The program was designed to help students get familiar with the university, lecturers as well as introduce them to a wide range of university activities.
Greetings all the students of intake 66 to the UEB, Assoc.Prof. Nguyen Truc Le – Rector of the University said, I was unable to welcome you in-person, hear your voice but to me, this meeting is very special. From this day, you become a part of our university, the top university in Vietnam with strong education internationalization strategy. I believed that you will continue our proud tradition over the last 50 years and train yourself to become global citizens while maintain your own traditional value.
Last year, the VNU University of Economics and Business ranked first among member of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, this is the second consecutive year the university achieved this success. The achievement affirmed the right direction of the university toward sustainable development, toward the mission to become the practical research orientation ranked among top university in the region.
Assoc.Prof. Nguyen Truc Le affirmed that the UEB has always pursued the four core values, Encouraging creativity, nurturing passion; Respecting differences, promoting cooperation; Highlighting quality and effectiveness; Ensuring harmoniousness and sustainable development, the UEB is an open environment, support creativity and innovation, nurture passion in research and learning.

During the welcome week, the students were introduced to training mechanism of the university, the exchange programs with domestic and international partners of the university. They also knew about various scholarships offered to UEB’s students as well as student competitions, student clubs.
