Accounting - Auditing plays a vital role in economic management from the scale of each unit, agency, enterprise to the whole national economy and is increasingly demanding about the professional expertise, skills and knowledge of the staff working in this field. Therefore, the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing has built up 3 specialization to help students have an early orientation and in-depth study of the right knowledge and expertise in the profession they intend to pursue.

1. Accounting

Accounting is known as an indispensable position in any business or agency. It can be said that accounting is an extremely popular profession for students majoring in Economics. The Bachelor of Accountancy training program of the VNU-UEB is oriented to integrate international standards associated with reality, which has been applied for many years and is continuously improved and renewed to meet the needs of the actual situation.

The program is designed and taught according to ICAEW's CFAB program, ensuring that students can both complete a university program and take the exam to get international professional certificates. Students majoring in Accounting can also learn new modules. Besides theoretical classes, students can also participate in business classes, internships, helping to consolidate knowledge, improve the connection between theory and practice.

 

Graduates are fully equipped with knowledge background, ready to work in both domestic and international companies. They can work at enterprises of all fields in the state financial management agencies, public sector units, social organizations, NGOs, banks; working as accountants, stockbrokers, transaction and treasury staff, project managers at securities companies and banks; Chief Accountant, Head of Accounting Department, Financial Manager, Chief Financial Officer – CFO in all types of domestic and international enterprises; Researchers, lecturers, economic inspectors, etc. 

 

Towards the goal of "internationalizing education", the major courses in Auditing are taught entirely in English. In addition, the training program also integrates CFAB (ICAEW Certificate of Practicing Accounting Program), equipping students with practical knowledge from the early time.

Practical activities provide conditions for students to apply and transform theory to reality, help them to gain practical work experience, understand the operating system of the business.

 

3. Business Analysis

Business analysis helps managers to answer problems and find development solutions for businesses. The Business Analytics major was developed by the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing, VNU-UEB to help students develop problem-solving skills, offer cost-optimized solutions, and improve product quality and services of the business.

The bachelor's degree program in Accounting, with a specialization in Business Analytics, will equip learners with professional knowledge and skills in business analysis, statistics, business intelligence, risk management and communication skills. The objective of the program is to train data analysts equipped with knowledge, methods and tools to collect, analyze, process, store, extract, manage data and use data to meet the diverse needs of businesses and economic sectors.
