Opening ceremony of strategic management skills training course in Phu Tho Province

Within the framework of cooperation between the two units, VNU University of Economics and Business and the Department of the Interior of Phu Tho province have developed and co-organized the course “Strategic management skills in the era of international integration” for the public servants in the province. In the morning of May 2nd 2013, the opening ceremony of the course was held.


Attending the ceremony were Dr. Vu Anh Dzung - Vice Rector, Dr. Nguyen Dang Minh - Head of Office of Research and Partnership Development, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Hoang Van Hai - Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration from VNU- University of Economics and Business.
From the Department of the Interior of Phu Tho province were Mrs. Pham Thi Huong - Member of Phu Tho Province’s Party Committee, Member of Provincial People's Committee, Director of the Department of the Interior of Phu Tho Province; Mr. Nguyen Huu Thinh - Member of Phu Tho Province’s Party Committee , Deputy head of the provincial Standing Committee.
In the opening ceremony of the course, Mrs. Pham Thi Huong said that: maintaining political stability, thoroughly developing – socio-economic and security are important tasks in the development of our country. In recent years, Phu Tho province has continuously strived for development and improved living standard . However, Phu Tho province is a mountainous and midland province with a range of difficulties. In the next stage, along with the process of international integration, the provincial officials need to be enhanced their capacity in order to meet the requirement of administrative apparatus reform, leading toease difficulties for organizations and enterprises. Thus, Mrs. Huong expects that the trainee who are chosen to participate in this course will be provided practical knowledge from the experienced lecturers of the VNU- UEB. Trainees also need to define their responsibilities in the learning process, consider this as the valuable material and experience in the implementation of their duties and follow the regulation of course to achieve the best results.

Since 2012, VNU-UEB and Phu Tho province has implemented a number of cooperation programs. On behalf of the university, he highly- appreciated the organization and management of the leader of Phu Tho province. Dr. Vu Anh Dzung expressed his desire to develop more durable and efficient relationship between the two sides   through this course,
Following the plan, the training course will be conducted from May 2nd 2013 until May 6th 2013.
Joining this course, the trainee will be equipped with the knowledge related to strategic management in the era of international integration, such as East - West strategic thinking, strategic leadership, strategic analysis, human resource attraction and development strategy.…
On the same day, the delegation of VNU-UEB had a meeting with representatives of Leader of Phu Tho province to discuss on the potential for comprehensive cooperation between the two sides in the future.
