Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Truc Le speaks at the event
“In 2021, the University of Economics and Business will promote application in technology, build up university's culture, and enhance activities in international integration. To achieve that goal, I urge all staff and faculty members to reflect on the past year and come up with specific working plans for the year 2021”, said the Rector.

Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Truc Le also proposed activities to “Build another Harvard” at VNU University of Economics and Business. The Rector had specific requirements for staff, lecturers and managers of the university. To managers, he expect them to make a good model in taking challenging tasks, to interact and work effectively with people and motivate the staff for better results. To staff, they were expected to expand their knowledge, take up responsibility for their tasks, and do it in a professional way.

In the training course, the Rector presented five ideas for each staff and faculty member to develop and design his/her plans, including (1) Be proactive at work, ask questions to yourself and to superiors for better work; (2) Be creative, come up with ideas to complete the jobs; (3) Share the work instead of avoiding taking responsibility; (4) Each individual becomes his/her own manager; (5) Do not be afraid of stepping out of the comfort zone.

The discussion took place in an intimate atmosphere. All the staff and faculty members involved in the program believed and expressed their determination to achieve the goal of 2021.
